Our People Operations team makes sure these specialists have the support they need to do their best work. In this role, you help shape HR processes, support employees and managers, and become a trusted point of contact across the company.
Your Mission
In this role, you support our People Operations team in day-to-day operations and take ownership of selected HR topics. You are the go-to contact for employees and managers, run recruiting from job ad to onboarding, and make sure contracts, personnel files, and employment law matters are handled cleanly and reliably.
Your Responsibilities & Tasks
- You run the recruiting process: job ads, applicant tracking, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- You prepare and execute personnel actions, including hires, transfers, formal warnings, and terminations.
- You draft employment contracts, references, certificates, and other HR documents.
- You maintain personnel master data and keep employee files complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- You advise employees and managers on HR-related and employment law questions.
- You support HR projects and help us continuously improve our HR processes.
- You ensure compliance with German labour law and work closely with HR leadership.
- Completed degree in human resources, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid knowledge of German labour law and its practical application in day-to-day HR work.
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and confident presence across all levels of the company.
- German at C1 level and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Two to four years of HR experience, ideally in an IT or consulting environment.
- First experience with Odoo or a comparable HR or ERP software.
- Hands-on recruiting experience, from job posting to onboarding.
- Familiarity with payroll interfaces such as DATEV or similar systems.
- Affinity for HR tools, automation, and process digitisation.
- Interest in a mid-sized, owner-managed IT environment.
- Experience across the full range of personnel actions, including employment law topics.
